On 14 December the Court handed down Judgment in a case which has been quietly progressing over the past year. My client, the National Pharmacy Association (“NPA”) successfully defended an application by Pharmacy2U, the UK’s largest distance selling pharmacy, seeking disclosure of the names and contact details of the NPA’s thousands of community pharmacist members. In addition to its application being refused, Pharmacy2U must now pay the NPA’s costs of the case. The reported Judgment can be read here and the NPA’s comments on the case appear here.
